Darrell and Nicole share the story behind Foyle Supply, the inspiration for launching the business and their hopes for the future.
What inspired you both to start Foyle Supply together?
Foyle Supply really came from a shared passion for creating something meaningful for both our local community and our family.
Coming from healthcare backgrounds in pharmacy and nursing, caring for people has always been at the centre of what we do. But with both of us working demanding full-time jobs, especially with the travel involved, we found ourselves missing valuable time at home with our two boys.
We wanted to create something that not only offered people accessible health, wellness and everyday products, but also gave us the opportunity to build a more stable family life together.
There has always been a real sense of community in Derry and it was important to us that Foyle Supply reflected that from the very beginning.
Starting the business together allowed us to combine our strengths and create something we’re genuinely proud of.

We’ve worked hard to create an online shopping experience that is simple and reliable. Above all, we want people to enjoy both the products they receive and the overall experience of shopping with us.
Why was it important for you to create a one-stop shop for everyday health, beauty and wellness products?
People are busier than ever and we felt shopping for everyday beauty, wellness and self-care products should feel simple and convenient rather than time-consuming.
As parents ourselves, we know how valuable convenience and trust can be when shopping for everyday products.
For us, it was about bringing together affordability, quality and convenience in one place while helping people discover products that fit naturally into their everyday routines.
What types of products are customers loving most at the minute?
Right now, customers are really loving wellness-focused products, skincare and beauty essentials.
There is definitely growing interest in products that support self-care and healthier lifestyles, especially items that are effective, affordable and easy to incorporate into daily routines.
Trending beauty brands and viral social media products are always popular too, but we are also seeing strong demand for reliable everyday staples that customers come back for time and time again.
We always try to strike a balance between exciting new finds and trusted favourites.
How do you decide which brands and products to stock?
We’re very customer-led in the way we choose products. We pay close attention to what people are asking for, current trends, product quality and overall value for money.
Coming from healthcare backgrounds, trust and product quality are hugely important to us and we would only stock products we’d genuinely feel comfortable recommending ourselves.
We also love discovering emerging brands and products that feel fresh and exciting, particularly those that align with our focus on wellness, beauty and everyday living.
Ultimately, we want our range to reflect what our customers genuinely enjoy and benefit from.
What are your hopes and plans for the future of Foyle Supply?
Our biggest goal is to continue growing while staying true to what made people connect with Foyle Supply in the first place: quality products, excellent service and a strong sense of community.
In the future, we would love to open a physical retail space in Derry alongside our online business, somewhere customers can come in, browse products in person and have a chat with us face-to-face. Creating a local hub like that is something we’re really passionate about.
One of the most rewarding parts so far has been seeing repeat customers come back to shop with us. As a small family-run business, that kind of support means a lot and reassures us that we must be doing something right.
Ultimately, we want to continue building something that both our community and our family can be proud of for years to come.
