Escape to Oz and follow the Yellow Brick Road on a magical family adventure at Clandeboye this Easter

BANGOR’S Clandeboye Estate is being magically transformed for a Wizard Easter experience.
Get ready to embark on a whimsical journey as Escape to Oz invites families to experience a magical adventure from April 18-21.
Set against the stunning backdrop of the Clandeboye Estate, this enchanting event features a 1.5-mile forest trail that promises to transport visitors into the heart of the beloved tales of The Wizard of Oz and its captivating prequel, Wicked.
This three-hour experience is designed for families to enjoy together, as they collect character names along the trail, including the iconic ‘Witches’. Guests will be surrounded by mesmerising props and visuals that bring the story to life. Upon completing the trail, each adventurer will receive an illustrative certificate and a special treat.
The excitement continues with a lively performance by talented stars portraying Glinda and Elphaba the Witch. Children will have an opportunity to sing and dance with their favourite characters in the courtyard, followed by a meet-and-greet session. Additionally, face and clay painting activities will be available to enhance the magical experience.
Food lovers will delight in the variety of local food and drink vendors catering to all tastes. For the sweet of tooth. expect delectable chocolate and mallow delights.
Kids are also encouraged to dress up as their favourite character.
Parking is limited for the two daily sessions from 10.ooam to 1.00pm and 2.00pm to 5.00pm, so to ensure a spot in this enchanting experience, advance ticket purchase is advised.
