NOMINATIONS OPEN FOR MRANI AWARDS 2026

The Minorities Recognition Awards Northern Ireland (MRANI) are officially open for nominations for 2026, celebrating the outstanding contributions ethnic minority communities make to Northern Ireland’s economy, culture and business landscape.
The awards recognise individuals and organisations across a wide range of sectors and are encouraging businesses throughout Northern Ireland to shine a spotlight on the innovators, leaders and changemakers within their teams and communities.
This year, NIE Networks joins as sponsor of the STEM category, reinforcing the message that innovation and progress thrive through diversity and inclusion.
Launching the nominations, Paula Leathern from NIE Networks said:
“NIE Networks is proud to sponsor the Minorities Recognition Awards in Northern Ireland, reflecting our commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace where every individual feels respected, valued and empowered.”
Reflecting on the importance of the awards, Professor Raj Thakur Singh, a previous STEM category winner and representative of Re-Vana Therapeutics, added:
“The MRANI Awards are a testament to the exceptional talent within our STEM sector, particularly recognising the vital contributions of minority communities. I strongly encourage innovators and leaders from diverse backgrounds to step forward and be recognised. These awards provide an important platform to showcase excellence, celebrate inclusion and highlight the impact of underrepresented voices. I look forward to celebrating the next generation of pioneers in our industry this year.”
