Summer at The Painted Pig is always a hive of activity, and this year is no different! As the school holidays approach, our studio is buzzing with creativity as we welcome families, schools, and community groups through the doors to relax, paint, and make memories.
Crafty Days with Schools and Groups
In the lead-up to the summer holidays, we’ve been working closely with several primary schools across the area. We provide everything needed for a smooth in-school pottery session, including pottery pieces, paints, brushes, juice, and treats for the children to enjoy after they’ve finished their artwork. It’s a great way for pupils to celebrate the end of term with a creative twist.
We’ve also been delighted to host after-school clubs and SEN sessions, offering a relaxed and inclusive experience where children can express themselves through colour and clay.
Birthday Parties that Spark Joy
One of the most popular activities at The Painted Pig is our birthday party packages, available both in-studio and on the go. Our mobile service brings pottery fun to your home or party venue, complete with paint, pottery, and guidance from our team.
Whether you’re planning a unicorn-themed party or a chilled-out painting night for teens, we offer Bronze, Silver, and Gold packages to suit every budget. From mini mugs and plates to animal figurines and keepsake tiles, there’s something for every young artist to love.

Pottery Nights, Events & More
The Painted Pig isn’t just for kids — we love hosting adult groups too! Our recent collaborations with Wheely’s Brew, The Cedar Country Hotel, and Café Steinebeck in Limavady have brought pottery painting to new venues, letting people sip coffee or cocktails while getting creative.

What’s Next?
This summer, we’re introducing a new take-home package range that’s perfect for birthdays, rainy days, or family evenings in. We’ve also been working on some exciting creative ideas with local artists, including special painting nights with singer Ava Lohan Gallen and custom poetry & pottery events.
