Wallpaper has never looked so good

At Sheena Noelle Interiors, there’s a wide range of new textured wallpapers to give a beautiful organic feel to your home.
We have been texture-obsessed in interiors for a while now. From rustic linens to sumptuous velvets, we have been fully aware of the emotive power of the right texture in the right place. This season we are upping our game and wrapping our interiors in tactile warmth with natural textured wallpapers. From grass cloths to jute, linens and silks, wallpaper has never looked this good.
While textured wallpaper has been creeping into our consciousness over the last few seasons, this year sees the variety and depth of texture reach a new level. Wallpaper that is multi-dimensional is used to envelop full rooms, transforming the feeling and acoustics of a space.
We completely love this trend for its universal appeal. With the right wallpaper, it can work in modern interiors as well as traditional spaces, it appeals to maximalists and minimalists alike and it instantly adds visual interest and character to a room.
Grasscloth is the ultimate textured wallpaper, made from hand-woven plant fibres; it is heavily textured and gives a wonderful organic feel. There are some disadvantages to grass cloth however, due to its natural finish it is not suitable for high moisture areas like bathrooms as it will water damage easily. As it cannot be washed or scrubbed it is also less practical for high-traffic areas unless used above panelling. Despite these drawbacks, when used in the right area, it can look stunning.
For those higher traffic or high moisture areas, there are some beautiful faux grasscloth papers or natural textured papers that can stand up to even the busiest homes. Brands like Osborne and Little and Casamance launched some amazing new textured wallpaper ranges which give you all the texture with none of the drawbacks.
At Sheena Noelle Design we have been receiving some of the most gorgeous new wallpaper ranges to our wallpaper library this season and can’t wait to get working with them in our 2025/2026 interiors. To view the ranges, get in touch and make your studio appointment.
