Bridal Elegance has been a mother-and-daughter business for over a decade—what inspired you both to start this journey together?
Our journey into bridal started quite naturally. Mum originally hired out formal dresses, which soon led to stocking bridesmaid dresses. As more and more people started asking about wedding dresses, it became clear there was a real demand locally. It was about a year later that I got married and I kept thinking back to when I was searching for my own wedding dress and how the experience was so underwhelming and nothing like I had hoped. It felt transactional, impersonal and lacked the excitement I’d always imagined. It was a lightbulb moment for us. Brides deserved better. So, we decided to create a boutique where brides truly feel valued, celebrated, and enjoy the special experience they truly deserve. Being a mother-and-daughter team allows us to bring both tradition and a fresh, modern approach to bridal shopping, ensuring every bride who walks through our door is met with kindness and feels at home in a warm and welcoming space.
How do you ensure a truly special experience for each bride-to-be who comes into your boutique?
From the moment she steps into our boutique, she is at the heart of everything we do. We offer a relaxed, no-pressure environment with a personalised welcome, a glass of Prosecco, and expert guidance. Every appointment is tailored to each bride’s individual style, and we love celebrating those unforgettable “yes” moments with their family and friends. We’ve designed our boutique to feel warm and inviting, with a modern, spacious setting and a safe space to capture memories that will last long after the appointment ends.
How do you curate your wedding dress collection? How do you stay on top of bridal trends?
We carefully select each gown with our brides in mind, balancing both timeless elegance and modern trends. Our collection is all about quality, fit, and that magical feeling when a bride knows she’s found “the one.” We stay ahead of trends by attending bridal fashion events, working closely with top designers, and, most importantly, listening to what our brides want.
What advice would you give to brides who are just beginning their wedding dress search, and what can they expect when they book an appointment with you?

What new bridal trends are we seeing for 2025?
Brides in 2025 are embracing both classic romance and modern drama. We’re seeing more corsetry making a comeback, structured silhouettes for a cleaner finish, a blend of elegance and playfulness. Sheer sleeves, floral appliqués, and 3D textures are proving big hits. And finally, giving brides endless ways to express their style. Personalisation is also in: whether it’s the gown itself, detachable sleeves or unique veils and accessories.
