WHY FOSTERING HAS GIVEN OLIVIA A NEW SENSE OF PURPOSE
As an award-winning hair and makeup artist Olivia Muldoon has been at the top of her game for the best part of two decades. And while she has enjoyed numerous professional successes over the years, until a few months ago Olivia still had one big unfulfilled personal ambition – to be a foster carer.
Speaking to Local Women, Olivia says: “I can’t have children so I’ve always thought about adoption and knew it was something I wanted to do but kept putting it off in case I met someone. “Also, the adoption laws here make it so difficult and the process can take years so from there I began thinking of going down the fostering route, to get experience and see where it leads.
