Summer beauty prep always starts earlier than people think.

At HUTT Beauty, founder Stephanie Stewart says the lead-up to summer is one of the salon’s busiest times of year, with clients focusing on treatments that help them feel fresh, confident and holiday-ready.
Spray Tans for an Instant Glow
A spray tan remains one of the salon’s most popular treatments during summer.
“A tan just gives people that instant confidence boost,” Stephanie says.
“People feel fresher, healthier and more put together straight away.”
Many clients now look for softer, more natural-looking tans that give a healthy glow rather than anything too dark or heavy.
Whether it is for holidays, weddings or a weekend away, spray tanning has become a summer staple for many women.

“People definitely become more adventurous with colour at this time of year,” Stephanie says.
“You see lots of bright pinks, oranges, whites and fun holiday nails.”
Long-lasting nails are especially popular for clients travelling abroad, with many wanting something durable that will survive pools, sand and suitcases.
Brows and Waxing Appointments Fill Fast
Brows and waxing treatments become essential once summer clothes come back out.
“It’s usually the treatments people suddenly remember right before their holiday,” Stephanie laughs.
“But they’re the appointments that make people feel organised and ready.”
From eyebrow shaping to waxing appointments, clients often book in advance to make sure they are sorted before the busy holiday season begins.
Beauty That Fits Real Life
Although trends constantly change online, Stephanie believes most clients simply want treatments that make them feel comfortable and confident in themselves.
That philosophy has shaped HUTT Beauty since it first began almost a decade ago.
What started from Stephanie’s kitchen table during maternity leave has grown into a busy salon known for its friendly atmosphere and loyal clients.
“There’s always good chat and laughter in the salon,” Stephanie says.
“I want people to come in and feel comfortable straight away.”
For many clients, appointments are not just about beauty maintenance. They are also a chance to switch off for an hour and take some time for themselves during busy lives.
The Summer Rush Is On
As holidays, weddings and summer events fill the calendar, Stephanie says appointments are already becoming busier.
And while trends may come and go, one thing never really changes.
“People just want to feel good when they’re going away or heading out somewhere,” she says.
“That feeling of confidence is what summer beauty prep is really about.”
